LGBT Center and Olivet Clubs Partner for Community Movie Series

The LGBT Center of Greater Reading and Olivet Boys & Girls Club have partnered to engage local youth and families by hosting a series of community movie nights beginning in October.

The two organizations are hoping the partnership will allow education of a wider audience on resources and support offered by both organizations.

“We are grateful for the resources and value that the LGBT Center brings to youth in the community and are excited to serve and engage a wider audience of youth with these fall movie nights at our Clubs.”

Movie Series Dates

  • Kenhorst Community Center-October 2nd
  • Olivet Boys & Girls Club-Pendora Unit-October 16th
  • Olivet Blue Mountain Camp – October 30th (Teens Only)
  • Olivet Boys & Girls Club-PAL Unit-November 6th
  • Olivet Boys & Girls Club-Clinton Unit-November 20th

wellbeing of our youth and our community.”

A special Halloween event is scheduled for October 30th for teens, which will be held at the Olivet’s Blue Mountain Camp location in Hamburg.

The event will be open to all teens in the local area with the support of additional local, community partners such as Bethany Children’s Home and Berks Teens Matter.
