Pennsylvania Magic Festival to Feature Magician Lance Burton

In a recent news release, the Kutztown Magic Convention announced it has officially changed it’s name to the Pennsylvania Magic Festival. For over 40 years the Convention has brought some of the world’s best performers to Kutztown, Pennsylvania.

For the past 10 plus years the convention has been produced by members of Society of American Magicians Friendship Assembly 92 and International Brotherhood of Magicians Mingus Magic Ring #57.

Changing locations for 2019, the convention will now be held in West Reading’s Scottish Rite Auditorium. Event organizers chose the new location because of it’s 1,200 seat theater, large banquet area, and proximity to the bustling commercial district of Penn Avenue.

The date of the Pennsylvania Magic Festival is scheduled for Saturday October 19th, 2019. According to organizers, the festival will be held annually on the third Saturday of October. Proceeds from the event will benefit The Children’s Dyslexia Center of Reading. The center provides tutoring and support to children with dyslexia at no cost to the family.

Although they have a new name, event organizers say their commitment to bring the best magicians in the world together has not changed. The convention is being planned and run by the same group of dedicated individuals as it has in the past.
