Exeter Police Investigate Burglary Incident at Reading Standard Motorsports

The Exeter Township Police Department is investigating a commercial burglary incident that took place at Reading Standard Motorsports, located at 5560 Perkiomen Ave., Reading, within Exeter Township. The burglary happened around 1:15 am. The suspects were operation a white Ford truck with an aluminum stake body style cargo area. The suspects operating the vehicle broke into a door on the west side of the building to gain entry into the building. Once in the building the suspects an alarm was activated which caused the suspects to leave the business. Exeter Police attempted to stop the suspect vehicle, but managed to elude police.

Anyone with information pertaining to this burglary incident, can identify the suspect vehicle or has knowledge or information about the suspects is asked to submit an anonymous tip to Crime Alert Berks County.
