Olsen DESIGN is an architecture and planning studio serving Reading, Pennsylvania for over 28 years. We pride ourselves in the quality of our thought process, our design solutions and our client satisfaction. From the start of a design commission until the ribbon cutting, a Project Manager is there, on the Client’s Team.
Every project is reviewed by our in-house QA/QC project Team, chaired by Lee. We have an inter-relationship with every Client in that they sit with us from day 1 in the decision making process which leads to a quality product, solving the Client’s challenges with thoughtful/holistic design solutions within the the Client’s predetermined budget and schedule.

What can clients expect?
A “Hands – on” and pragmatic approach to solving our Client’s design challenges. I personally employ my “day in the life” procedure with all clients, learning their business, vocation, process and methodology of how they do their job by working with them all day long, not just shadowing but also interacting with their peers and subordinates to see just how they work together and produce a finished product, either a package going out to the loading dock or a freshly minted person in recovery returning into society.
What Inspires You?
The satisfaction of solving built problems for our Client base. be it housing, office, classroom, rehab/detox, medical clinic or manufacturing plant, we as architects are charged with solving problems, on all scales.
Designing spaces for people to heal, work, play and live requires the use of all senses and the chance to make a better environment than what existed before.
Our mission statement, my CREED, says it all …” Creatively plan and design the built environment in a socially responsible and ecologically sustainable manner to improve the human condition “
