Berks County Medication Take Back Day Set for April 27th

April 27th is National Prescription Drug Take Back Day. To help the public safely dispose of prescription drugs, the Berks Medical Society, Reading Fightin Phils, and the County of Berks Opioid Task Force have partnered to host the 4th annual Prescription Drug Take Back event for Berks County.

The Berks County Medication Drop Box disposal program will take place from 10am – 2pm in FirstEnergy Stadium parking lot adjacent to the ballpark. The event is free for county residents and ID is not required.

To help encourage the public to dispose of unused or expire medication, the Fightin Phils are giving away free tickets to the first 5,000 participants.

If you cannot make it on Saturday, prescription drop boxes are also located throughout Berks County. View the map here: easymapmaker.com/map/e1f385dc626
