Berks Entrepreneur Shines with F.I.T. for Women TV

For leadership coach and motivational speaker Adrean Turner, helping women see that it is possible to achieve their dreams is her ultimate passion.

Originally hailing from the suburbs of Philadelphia, Turner spent over 20 years working in various positions at a Fortune 50 company.

Her career brought her to Berks County 25 years ago, and she fell in love with the community and business landscape that the Reading area has to offer.

In 2008, Turner made the decision to leave corporate America and follow her own dream: that of becoming an entrepreneur.

Over the last five years, Turner has accomplished everything from coaching, hosting a podcast, appearing at speaking engagements, and publishing a book, Fearless. Inspired. Transformed: F.I.T. for Success, an Amazon best-seller.

In January 2020, Turner was inspired to create her own television show based off of her book on BCTV.org, F.I.T. for Women TV. Inspired by Success Connections, another show that airs on BCTV, Turner said, “[I] thought how [no show like that] focuses primarily on women. I wanted to be that voice.”

As a prior pageant contestant who held the title of “Mrs. Berks County” 2018 and 2019, Turner shared that her former pageant platform was to be an advocate for women in leadership positions and equal pay.

“[F.I.T. for Women TV] is an opportunity for women who might be struggling in their careers, struggling with self-doubt…not knowing how to be successful in their home or work lives, or who want ideas to grow” said Turner.

“[It is geared] to help women reach their full potential.” When asked what her dream was for F.I.T. for Women TV, Turner said “I would love if the show encouraged more women to understand their power, to see their imperfections as beauty marks and to be courageous enough to take chances for greater fulfillment and not stay stuck”.

“My grand vision is that this will become a national show where we can support women all across America.”

Not even the pandemic can dampen Turner’s spirits as she looks ahead to the future. “Great things have been happening,” she said. “I feel very blessed, and very thankful.”

F.I.T for Women TV airs on BCTV.org on the third Friday of every month. You can watch episodes and learn more about Coach Adrean Turner here: https://tv.coachadrean.com
