Fifth ‘Peaceful Stand’ Rally Focuses on Empowering Women

The ‘Peaceful Stand’ series is an event that promotes local equality, Love and Peace.

Hosted by Muhlenberg Head Basketball Coach Tyrone Nesby, the fifth event in the series, held Tuesday night at FirstEnergy Stadium, focused on empowering women.

Local community leaders spoke on their personal experiences with racism and inequality.

2020 marks the 100th anniversary of the passage of the 19th Amendment, guaranteeing and protecting women’s constitutional right to vote.
