An oversized tractor trailer carrying a milk storage tank made its way down 4th Street in Hamburg Wednesday afternoon, causing traffic problems in the borough.
According to Hamburg Police, the tractor trailer was unexpectedly re-routed through borough, traveling from Interstate 78, South on 4th Street, to Route 61.

Residents were urged to move their vehicles prior to the arrival of the heavy load. Many did not heed the warning.
Fire Police assisted in shutting down local roads as the wide load moved by.
The milk storage tank was being transported to the Clover Farms facility in Muhlenberg Township.
