Berks Veterans Affairs selects Camel Project to facilitate new peer-to-peer support group

Berks Veterans Affairs has selected The Camel Project to facilitate its new FORWARD in-person, peer-to-peer support group. The support group allows veterans to discuss any issue important to them in a safe, non-judgmental environment.

Sessions are no-cost, no registration is required, and personal information is not collected. Veterans can leave at any time during the one-hour sessions.

All veterans are invited to attend the FORWARD sessions on Wednesdays at 1:30 pm at the Berks Veterans Affairs office at 726 Cherry St., Reading, PA.

The Camel Project’s Reading based nonprofit with a mission is to assist communities, including individuals, schools, and organizations, in changing the culture of violent and unacceptable behaviors that result in trauma and abuse.
