2.3 Magnitude Earthquake Hits Lancaster County

If you felt the ground shake Sunday afternoon it wasn’t just you, it was a real earthquake!

With a magnitude of 2.3 on the Riker Scale the earthquake hit just Southeast of Millersville at 4:49pm with a depth of 3 only miles according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

A Community Internet Intensity Map on USGS.gov shows the quake was felt by people in Southern Berks and beyond (although very weak).
