The National Weather Service Storm Prediction Center, based out of Norman Oklahoma, has issued a Tornado Watch, Monday April 13th, for Berks County and Eastern Pennsylvania until 6pm.
In addition, a Wind Advisry has also been issued for our area until 7pm. Winds are expected to be 15 to 25 mph with 45 to 55 mph gusts.
Gusty winds could blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result. The strongest winds are forecast to occur from late morning into the afternoon. Thunderstorms are possible on Monday that could result in even stronger wind gusts.
Use extra caution when driving, especially if operating a high profile vehicle. Secure outdoor objects.
