The National Weather Service in Mount Holly, NJ, has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for most of Pennsylvania, including Berks County and the City of Reading.

The advisory is in effect from 8pm Wednesday evening to 10am Thursday morning. Freezing rain expected, with total ice accumulations of around one tenth of an inch.

Freezing rain is primarily expected along and north of the Interstate 78 corridor. South of the Interstate 78 corridor, freezing rain is less likely.

Difficult travel conditions are possible. The hazardous conditions could impact the morning commute. Slow down and use caution while traveling. Prepare for possible power outages.
