Berks Weekly is expanding how readers can stay connected with local stories by launching a new monthly Print Edition, a collectible digest that brings community news straight to your mailbox. The Berks Weekly Print Edition is a 16+ page, digest-sized magazine curated by our newsroom. Each issue features community profiles and stories that reflect the people and culture of Berks County.
For just $5 per month, subscribers will receive the ad-free publication, sustainably produced on sugarcane paper, along with occasional rewards and special inserts throughout the year. “We wanted to create something tangible that readers can hold onto — something worth keeping,” said Jason Hugg, editor of Berks Weekly. “The Print Edition is a way to share our stories beyond the screen, while also giving readers another way to support local journalism.”
What subscribers can expect each month
When you subscribe, the Print Edition arrives automatically at your home at the beginning of each month. Inside, you’ll find:

The Print Edition is designed to be small but mighty: a monthly keepsake that captures life in Berks County.
Why it matters
The Print Edition is more than just a new way to read Berks Weekly. Each subscription directly supports independent, locally owned journalism in Berks County. Your contribution helps us cover the stories larger outlets often overlook — from neighborhood features and local history to arts, food, and community profiles.
“Every subscription is a statement that local news matters,” said Hugg. “It allows us to keep telling the stories that make Berks County unique, while giving readers something they can enjoy and share.”
