Crystal Cave Announces Reopening of Tours and Attractions

Crystal Cave, popular Berks County tourist attraction near Kutztown announced they will be reopening Friday, June 26, 2020, following a three month closure due to COVID-19.

“To ensure the health and welfare of our guests and employees Crystal Cave has implemented new safety guidelines based on the recommendations of the CDC and PA Department of Health” says Crystal Cave staff.

Crystal Cave will be open 9-5pm daily. Cave tours will be limited to 50% capacity, resulting in 15 people per tour.

Screens have been placed in the gift shop for safety.

Employees and customers will be required to use face coverings and have their temperatures checked.

“Enhanced cleaning and sanitizing efforts are in place so guests can enjoy their experience at Crystal Cave.”

In addition, new social distancing rules will apply inside the gift shop, theater and cave with reduced tour sizes. Outdoor seating, panning for gemstones, and mini golf will be open daily. The Ice Cream parlor be only be available for take-out.
