A Pennsylvania Lottery Scratch-Off ticket worth $2.5 million was recently sold at a retailer in Berks County.
According to the Pennsylvania Lottery, the winning ticket for the $120,000,000 Payout Scratch-Off game was sold at Redner’s Quick Shoppe, 8381 Allentown Pike, Maidencreek Township. The retailer will receive a $10,000 bonus for selling the winning ticket.
The $120,000,000 Payout game is a $30 Scratch-Off that offers top prizes of $2.5 million.
Lottery officials said Scratch-Off tickets are distributed randomly, meaning the Pennsylvania Lottery and its retailers do not know where winning tickets will be sold. The Lottery only learns the location after a prize has been claimed.
Players are reminded that Scratch-Off prizes expire one year from the game’s end-sale date posted at palottery.com. Winners are encouraged to immediately sign the back of their ticket and call the Lottery at 1-800-692-7481.
All Lottery prizes exceeding $5,000 are subject to applicable withholding. More information about the game, rules, and chances of winning is available at palottery.com or through the Pennsylvania Lottery’s official mobile app.
