Berks resident wins $1M PA Lottery Mega Millions ticket purchased online

The Pennsylvania Lottery recently awarded a prize worth $1 million on a Mega Millions ticket to a player from Berks County who purchased the ticket online for the Tuesday, June 11 drawing.

The ticket matched all five white balls drawn, 1-5-7-22-24, but not the yellow Mega Ball 8, to win $1 million, less applicable withholding.

Winners are not known until prizes are claimed and tickets are validated. Pennsylvania Lottery Mega Millions winners have one year from the drawing date to claim prizes. Winning tickets purchased at a Lottery retailer should immediately be signed on the back. Online winnings automatically appear in a player’s account after the claim has been processed. Players may visit palottery.com for more information.

More than 19,000 other PA Lottery Mega Millions tickets won prizes of various amounts in the drawing, including more than 4,200 tickets purchased with Megaplier. Players should check every ticket, every time.

The Mega Millions jackpot rolled to an estimated annuity value of $47 million, or $21.8 million cash, for the next drawing Friday, June 14.
