Student-athletes at Albright College will soon benefit from new shaded dugouts, thanks to a donation from Bachman’s Roofing. The Wernersville-based company announced it will complete the installation of new dugout roofs for the college’s baseball and softball fields on Friday, July 11.
The project is part of Bachman’s ongoing commitment to supporting local communities, schools, and youth athletics.
“This partnership with Albright College represents more than just a construction project—it’s about investing in the future of our local student-athletes and giving back to the community that has supported us for over 50 years,” said Andrew Hudson, COO of Bachman’s Roofing. “We’re honored to contribute to the growth of local sports programs and look forward to seeing the finished project come to life.”
Located in the city of Reading, Albright College is home to NCAA Division III athletics and a longstanding tradition of competitive sports. College officials said the new roofs will enhance both comfort and safety for players and staff during practices and games by providing essential shade and shelter.
The upgrades are expected to be completed and ready for use ahead of the fall athletic season.
Bachman’s Roofing, known for its work in roofing and exterior renovations, has also been widely recognized for its charitable efforts across Pennsylvania, including support for veterans, nonprofits, and educational institutions.
