Boyertown opens first Free Little Art Gallery: A tiny space for big creativity

Boyertown is about to get a lot more colorful. The town will celebrate the grand opening of its first Free Little Art Gallery (FLAG), a miniature public art space designed to inspire creativity, spark community connection, and celebrate the local art scene.

Located outside Stellar House Gift Shop, 232 E. Philadelphia Ave., Boyertown, the Free Little Art Gallery invites everyone to “Take art. Leave art. Share joy.” The gallery is always open and always free, featuring rotating displays of tiny artwork created by local artists, children, hobbyists, and passersby.

Part of a growing global movement, the Boyertown FLAG is rooted in a simple idea: art should be accessible, interactive, and joyful.

“This project is about giving Boyertown a place where creativity doesn’t belong to one person or one gallery. It belongs to all of us, and it can fit in the palm of your hand,” said Adriene Billet, owner of Stellar House Gift Shop and organizer of the project.

The gallery will be maintained by Stellar House with support from the creative community of Boyertown. Anyone is welcome to participate, whether by crafting a tiny painting, sculpting a miniature clay piece, or simply taking home a piece that speaks to them.
