Capital BlueCross Distributes 275 Meals to Reading School District Families

On Tuesday afternoon, Capital BlueCross teamed with the Reading School District to provide 275 meals for selected families across the City of Reading.

Volunteers from the school district provided meal bags, enough to feed 1,100 people, at both Southwest Middle School on Chestnut Street, and Family Promise, on North 5th Street.

Families were selected by the Reading School District Student Services team and received either a lasagana meal or ham/veggies meal.

The distribution was held in conjunction with Healthy You Cafes, located in the Capital BlueCross Connect health and wellness center in Enola, PA.
