Drivers traveling on 422 through Exeter Township may be upset to learn the Sheetz convenience store is now permanently closed. The new store, which is currently under construction, is located a few miles away on the former Bowl-O-Rama site.
Barriers prevent motorist from accessing the closed convenience store. The pumps have been removed and a sign on the window state “As of July 1st at Midnight, we will be Permanently closed”. The inside of the store has been completely torn apart.

Similar to the Sheetz location in Shillington, the new Exeter Township Sheetz will offer indoor seating and a Beer Cave. The new store is expected to be open by the end of summer.
