The Ultimate Athletic Complex (UAC), a premier 48-acre sports destination located at 1592 Wyomissing Road in Mohnton, PA, today unveiled its evolution into The Yards Athletics – a name that reflects its growing strength, expanding influence, and bold vision for the future of sport.
The facility will operate under The Yards Athletics name as it builds on its established foundation with enhanced resources, broader programming, and an intensified focus on athlete development and community engagement. As part of this next phase, Columbia Sports Group (CSG), in partnership with 9Works Sports, will play a larger operational role to strengthen the complex’s platform and accelerate its growth initiatives.
Situated in the heart of Berks County, The Yards features six meticulously maintained grass fields of varying sizes and a scenic 1.5-mile walking and running trail. The complex is currently utilized by several local clubs and organizations, including Mifflin FC, PA Classics Reading, and Roar Lacrosse Club, and hosts soccer and lacrosse training, recreational and elite youth programming, camps, clinics, tournaments, and community events.

Looking ahead, The Yards will expand its offerings for athletes looking to elevate their performance, learn through sports or just have fun doing what they love. New programming, scheduled to be rolled out throughout 2026, will include adult soccer leagues, running races, flag football, sport-specific and leadership camps for elite athletes, and open training hours. Additional events will be developed to attract visitors from across the region and showcase all that Berks County has to offer.
