Weis Markets is in the process of remodeling and upgrading its Kutztown store on Kutztown Road, with work expected to wrap up in September.
The renovation, which began in the spring, will feature several enhancements, including an expanded, market-style produce department with a wider variety of fresh items, a larger deli and food service area offering more convenient meals to go, and an expanded grocery department.

The store will also receive new interior décor and energy-efficient refrigerated and frozen cases that use low-impact refrigerants.
Founded in 1912, Weis Markets operates 199 stores across Pennsylvania, Maryland, Delaware, New Jersey, New York, West Virginia, and Virginia.
