The City shared the following statement: “After further evaluation and discussion, the administration has determined that the proposed candidate is no longer under consideration. While the administration is disappointed that the search for a permanent Public Works Director remains ongoing, it must be emphasized that the director position is vitally important to the City and selecting the right person for the job is critical. The Mayor and his administration remain dedicated to finding the right candidate as quickly as possible and will continue to work with multiple professional search firms.”
