County of Berks announces two-hour delay for County facilities on Friday, Feb. 25

The Berks County Commissioners and President Judge Thomas G. Parisi have decided to issue a two-hour delay for the opening of County facilities on Friday, February 25, due to the significant chance for ice accumulation during the morning commute.

County facilities will open at 10 a.m. to employees and the public.

The delayed opening does not apply to the County’s 24/7 operations. Employees of 24/7 operations should follow their department’s inclement weather policy.

The County will post any further storm-related updates to the County of Berks homepage at countyofberks.com, on County social media channels and through the local media.
