South Heidelberg police are investigating a burglary that occurred Monday night at a local auto body shop.
According to the South Heidelberg Police Department, officers were dispatched at approximately 9:42 p.m. on March 30, 2026, to 41 Brick Plant Road in Heidelberg Township for a report of a burglary at D and R Bodyshop.
Upon arrival, officers determined that an unknown suspect had entered the business through a door. A search of the building found that the suspect had already fled the scene.

Police said a review of security camera footage showed the individual removing electronic devices from one of the offices before leaving.
The suspect is described as a white male, approximately 5 feet 10 inches to 6 feet tall, weighing between 160 and 180 pounds. He was last seen wearing a light-colored hoodie, light-colored jeans, and white Skechers sneakers. Police said the suspect also had a light-colored cloth or bandana covering his face.
The investigation remains ongoing.
