A Hereford Township man is facing charges after Pennsylvania State Police say he caused a disturbance and broke into multiple homes along Seisholtzville Road Friday evening.
According to a public information release report from the Reading Patrol Unit, troopers arrested 43-year-old Kevin Graver after he allegedly began yelling in the roadway near Terrace Lane around 8:30 p.m. on July 18. Graver reportedly threw trash in the road and threatened residents before walking to a residence in the 3100 block of Seisholtzville Road, where he again threatened individuals.
Troopers say Graver then took a sewing machine and threw it through a window in an attempt to force entry into the home, causing an estimated $800 in damage to a double-pane window. He later went to another residence in the 3100 block of Seisholtzville Road and managed to gain entry while screaming for an unknown individual to come outside.
Graver continued his actions on Seisholtzville Road, where police say he again forced his way inside a third home while yelling obscenities. Troopers from PSP Reading responded and arrested Graver at the scene.
No injuries were reported. The victims listed in the report include residents from Barto and Macungie, ranging in age from 33 to 78.
State Police say the investigation is ongoing.
