A 23-year-old man was injured in a shooting overnight in Southeast Reading, according to the Reading Police Department.
Police and EMS were dispatched to 1200 block of Buttonwood Street at approximately 12:30am, September 9, 2022, for the report of a male shot in the foot.

According to investigators, the man was transported to Reading Hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.
Police say the suspect’s description is unknown at this time. The investigation is ongoing.
