Two Reading residents are facing drug- and firearm-related charges following a months-long investigation by the Reading Police Department and the Berks County District Attorney’s Office, authorities announced Friday.
According to investigators, the joint drugs and guns investigation began in June 2025 and led to search warrants for two city residences — 16 Neversink Street and 1633 Cotton Street — as well as the bodies of two suspects. The warrants were issued by Magisterial District Judge Carissa L. Johnson.
On Jan. 16, 2026, detectives, assisted by the Berks County Emergency Response Team, executed the warrants.
Thomas Dorsey, 43, of the 16 Neversink Street address, was charged with persons not to possess firearms and possession of cocaine. Authorities said items seized from that location included a Mossberg bolt-action shotgun, crack cocaine, and drug paraphernalia.
Alan Tepi-Hernandez, 25, of 1633 Cotton Street, was charged with possession with intent to deliver fentanyl and cocaine, possession of fentanyl and cocaine, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Investigators reported seizing 593 packets of fentanyl, crack cocaine, a SAR Arms 9mm semi-automatic handgun, a Radical Firearms AR-15 lower receiver, a 9mm semi-automatic magazine, a cellphone, two digital scales, and additional drug paraphernalia from that residence.
Authorities estimated the combined street value of the seized drugs at more than $4,000.
During the execution of the search warrants, four additional individuals with outstanding warrants were located and taken into custody. They were identified as Lakim Miller-Nock, 43; Rayheem Ratliffe, 28; Jayden Santiago, 24; and Marisol Reagen, 40.
All individuals were transported to the Berks County Sheriff’s Central Processing Center and are awaiting arraignment.
Officials emphasized that all charges are allegations and that the defendants are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law. The investigation remains ongoing.
