Reading High School graduate achieves perfect attendance K-12

Reading High School has announced the remarkable achievements of Zachary Schrader, a recent graduate who has demonstrated extraordinary dedication both in the classroom and on the tennis court. Zachary graduated with straight A’s and maintained perfect attendance from kindergarten through 12th grade, attending 13th & Union Elementary, Northeast Middle School, and Reading High School.

Zachary’s academic achievements are complemented by his outstanding athletic performance in tennis. As a freshman, Zachary won county singles, the first time in 70 years for a RHS student-athlete. His exceptional skills and commitment to the sport have earned him a scholarship to Lebanon Valley College, where he will continue to play tennis while pursuing a degree in physical therapy.

“Zachary was a student in my 4th grade class,” stated Ms. Kristin Ciemiewicz. “Even back then it was evident that he would be a very successful student at RSD. He is part of the Gifted Program, participated in the music program, has an impeccable attendance record, all while building a historic tennis career at RSD. He really is an amazing young man.”

Mr. Mike Fisher, RHS Boys Varsity Tennis Coach, stated, “His commitment to his education and his sport is an inspiration to all students. We are incredibly proud of his accomplishments and look forward to his future successes.”

Zachary’s journey through the Reading School District is a testament to his hard work, discipline, and passion. His perfect attendance record is a rare and commendable achievement. At Lebanon Valley College, Zachary aims to combine his love for tennis with his interest in physical therapy, preparing for a career where he can help others achieve their best physical performance.
