Weis Markets donates nearly $7,000 to Oley Valley Elementary School through Weis 4 School Program

Weis Markets presented a donation check of $6,895.70 to Oley Valley Elementary School on Tuesday as part of its Weis 4 School 2024 program.

The donation reflects funds raised during the 2024–2025 Weis 4 School program, which allows customers to support local schools by linking their Weis Rewards cards. Each qualifying purchase generates a contribution for participating schools.

Representatives from Weis Markets joined school administrators for the check presentation, including Brian Kramer, store manager; Jason Williams, assistant principal; and Dr. Matt Broskey, principal of Oley Valley Elementary.

The Weis 4 School program, now in its fifth year, is designed to benefit pre-kindergarten through eighth-grade schools across Weis Markets’ seven-state service area. In the 2024–2025 cycle, more than 700 schools took part, with the program projected to generate $500,000 in donations overall.

“Weis 4 School offers our customers a convenient way to support their local schools,” Maria Rizzo, Weis Markets’ vice president of marketing and advertising, said when the current program launched. “Once schools join and customers link their Weis Rewards card, they can generate donations whenever they shop in our stores.”
