Conrad Weiser Theatre Company presents their first Readers Theatre production: Class Action, by Brad C. Slaight

The Conrad Weiser Theatre Company (CWTC) will present Class Action, the first Readers Theatre production, on November 14th, 15th & 16th. This full-length play brings together short, powerful scenes that capture the voices of today’s teens. Blending humor with poignant drama, it is both deeply relatable and thought-provoking.

Directed by Richard Bradbury & John Gancar, this unique script-in-hand style strips away sets and costumes to shine a spotlight on story and character, creating an intimate and unique theatrical experience. (Class Action contains mature themes. CWTC encourages patrons to read the full content advisory on their website before attending.)

“We are so thrilled to offer Readers Theatre this year, with our students being able to focus on developing their characters and growing their acting skills. With John Gancar and Richard Bradbury at the helm, we’re honored and fortunate to have their knowledge and perspective as actors and directors to guide our fall program and grow our company of actors. We’re equally excited to present subject matter that gives our students a voice about diverse issues they may experience or find relatable. This show is about stripping down a production and creating authentic storytelling. It’s art, education, and exploring life” said Hope L. O’Pake, Program Director.

CWTC provides a safe, nurturing, and educational environment where students are empowered through the theatre arts to inspire positivity and growth within the community. Embracing diversity and fostering both personal and artistic development, CWTC aims to celebrate talents and opportunities for growth, enriching the Conrad Weiser community and beyond. Guided by core values—Acceptance, Accessibility, Authenticity, Collaboration, Community, Dedication, Diversity, Family, Inclusivity, Individuality, Inspiration, Mentoring, Opportunity, Teamwork, and Excellence in Entertainment—CWTC strives to create meaningful experiences for performers and audiences alike.
