The Muhlenberg Township Parks & Recreation Department will once again sponsor the annual Temple Halloween Parade, a long-standing tradition in the community.
This year’s parade is scheduled for Saturday, October 4, at 6 p.m., with a rain date of Sunday, October 5, at 4 p.m. The procession will begin on Sharp Avenue, continue down to Kutztown Road, head north to Mount Laurel Avenue, turn left, and conclude at 7th Avenue.
Spectators can look forward to performances from several local high school bands, as well as appearances by motorcycle and car groups, fire trucks from around Berks County, floats from local businesses, and youth community organizations. New this year, judges will award prizes for the best parade designs.
The parade is expected to last about two hours, and food vendors will be stationed along the route.
