Fire crews battled a 3-alarm fire at a home in the 1400 block of Lancaster Ave in Kenhorst overnight Tuesday.
Dispatched around 1am, crews arrived to find smoke coming from a front attic window. The fire spread quickly and additional alarms were struck.

At one point an ambulance was requested to the scene for an injured firefighter, initially described just for an evaluation.
Crews worked for several hours to extinguish the fire. The cause is under investigation.
