The Yocum Institute for Arts Education has announced a significant transition in leadership. After more than two decades of service, the organization is celebrating Susan Rohn as she concludes her outstanding career with the Institute. Her dedication and vision have profoundly shaped the organization, leaving an enduring legacy that will not be forgotten. The Institute expressed deep gratitude for Rohn’s contributions and the passion she brought to its mission of enhancing arts education in the community.
As Rohn prepares to retire, the Institute welcomes Vicki Haller Graff as its new Executive Director. Graff brings a wealth of experience and a vibrant energy that aligns with the Institute’s goals for the future. Her strong record of community engagement, background in arts education, and leadership will be invaluable as the Institute continues to expand its programs and outreach efforts.
To ensure a seamless transition, Rohn and Graff will work closely together over the next few months. This collaborative period will allow for a smooth handover and continued success in serving the community while upholding the Yocum Institute’s long tradition of excellence in and through the arts.
Community members are invited to join in celebrating Rohn’s extraordinary tenure and in welcoming Graff to the Yocum Institute family.
“The Yocum Institute for Arts Education is the outstanding organization it is today thanks to Susan’s exceptional leadership and vision. While we are saddened to see Susan retire, we are equally excited for the energy, creativity, and leadership that Vicki will bring as we continue our tradition of excellence in arts education,” said Nicholas Bentley, President of the Board of Directors for the Yocum Institute for Arts Education.
