Andy Wagner, a teacher, community leader, and advocate, has officially announced his candidacy for the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in the 128th Legislative District.
Wagner brings more than 20 years of experience as a public school educator at the Chester County Intermediate Unit. In addition to his work in the classroom, Wagner has served as the Head Coach of the Daniel Boone High School Boys Lacrosse team, mentoring students and emphasizing teamwork, discipline, and leadership. A former collegiate athlete, Wagner credits his background in education and athletics with shaping his commitment to service and accountability.
“For over two decades, I have worked every day to support students, families, and our community,” Wagner said. “I am running for the Pennsylvania State House because our district deserves a representative who listens, leads with integrity, and fights for practical solutions. ”
Wagner’s campaign will focus on strengthening public education, supporting working families, protecting local communities, and ensuring state government is responsive to the people it serves.
“As a teacher and community advocate, I see firsthand how state decisions affect our classrooms and our neighborhoods,” Wagner added. “It is time to bring real world experience to Harrisburg.”
Wagner will officially kick off his campaign with a public announcement event on Monday, January 6, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at an undisclosed location within the district. Supporters and community members are encouraged to attend. RSVP is requested at https://secure.actblue.com/donate/wagnerj6.
The 128th Legislative District includes part(s) of Amity Township, Birdsboro Borough, Caernarvon Township, Cumru Township, Douglass Township, Exeter Township, New Morgan Borough, Robeson Township, and Union Township. in Berks County.
