Lifelong Republican and educator Mitch Micale has announced his campaign for Pennsylvania State Representative in the 130th Legislative District.
According to Micale, his campaign will focus on lowering the cost of living for Pennsylvania families, strengthening public safety by supporting and equipping law enforcement and first responders, and making state government more efficient and accountable to taxpayers. He said he is committed to restoring fiscal responsibility by passing on-time budgets and eliminating wasteful government spending, and has pledged to remain visible and accessible to constituents throughout the district.
Micale said his campaign aims to bring new energy to the 130th district while staying true to his conservative values, including protecting Second Amendment rights, defending the unborn, and safeguarding election integrity.
“The 130th Legislative District deserves a representative who is present, visible, and truly connected to the people. I am committed to listening and being the representative our community can count on,” Micale said.
Micale, who works as a fourth-grade teacher, said he fights for the next generation by restoring excellence in education, putting students first, empowering parents, and ensuring schools focus on strong academics and personal accountability.
He also serves as a Republican committee member and vice chair of the Berks County Young Republicans, roles he said demonstrate his involvement in supporting Republican candidates across the county and advancing conservative priorities locally.
