Reading School District seeks community feedback on communication practices

Survey available to community members through March 21.

The Reading School District has launched a communications survey to gather input from community members, families, and staff on its communication practices and community engagement efforts.

The anonymous survey will help the district assess the effectiveness of its communication strategies and identify opportunities for improvement. It includes questions that aim to gather community members’ viewpoints about the district, their preferred communication channels for district-related news, and what information they find most valuable. Open-ended questions are also provided for participants to share additional comments and suggestions.

“Strong communication is essential to building trust and fostering collaboration with our community, ” said Dr. Jennifer Murray, Superintendent of the Reading School District. “This survey gives families, staff, and community members a chance to share their thoughts and ideas. We are committed to using this feedback to improve how we connect and engage with everyone we serve.”

The Donovan Group, an independent school communications firm, will administer the survey and analyze the data collected. The survey takes approximately 7 to 10 minutes to complete and is open through Friday, March 21.

All members of the community are encouraged to participate. To complete the survey online, visit https://www.dgsurveys.com/r/RSDsurvey.
