Reading’s Holiday Parade returns November 22 with theme ‘The Gift of Giving Continues’

The City of Reading will once again usher in the holiday season with its annual Holiday Parade, scheduled for Saturday, November 22, 2025.

This year’s theme, “The Gift of Giving Continues,” highlights the community’s spirit of generosity and encourages residents to carry that tradition throughout the year. The parade will celebrate compassion, unity, and local pride, with a special focus on those who make giving a year-round commitment.

Floats, performances, and festive decorations will bring the theme to life as schools, businesses, community groups, and local organizations march through the heart of downtown Reading. The parade route will begin at 11th and Penn streets and continue to 2nd and Penn streets, filling the city’s main corridor with music, color, and holiday cheer.

The parade will begin at 10 a.m. on November 22. Participants interested in joining the parade must register by Monday, November 10.
