“Our Pagoda stands as one of Reading’s greatest symbols, and seeing it lit once again is a moment of pride for our entire community,” Mayor Morán said. “This successful test brings us one step closer to fully restoring this treasured landmark. I want to thank our Public Works staff, contractors, and everyone involved for their continued dedication to this project.”

The city noted that additional updates will be shared as further phases of the renovation move ahead. Upcoming improvements will focus on structural integrity, accessibility enhancements, and long-term preservation of the historic structure.
