Entech Engineering, Inc. announced that Kirsten Deysher, the company’s director of strategic partnerships and business development, has been reappointed to the Berks County Industrial Development Authority (BCIDA) for a new five-year term.
The reappointment was made by the Berks County Board of Commissioners and continues Deysher’s involvement in county-level economic development efforts. According to the announcement, the role includes advancing economic development financing, industrial and commercial redevelopment, and long-term infrastructure investment throughout Berks County.
In addition to her work with BCIDA, Deysher is entering her second year as chair of the board of directors for Berks Nature, a regional conservation organization. In that position, she provides strategic leadership and governance for the organization’s environmental and land conservation initiatives.
Entech stated that Deysher’s leadership connects environmental conservation with economic development, aligning growth initiatives with long-term community and environmental sustainability. Through her roles with Entech, BCIDA, and Berks Nature, the company said she continues to contribute to how Berks County approaches development, conservation, and long-term planning.
Deysher has more than 20 years of experience working within engineering firms, with a background in marketing, business development, strategic relationship management, and economic development initiatives. At Entech Engineering, her work focuses on linking technical expertise in the built environment with infrastructure, land use, and regional growth priorities. She is also involved in a range of community leadership efforts, serving on committees related to economic development, environmental stewardship, education, and regional planning.
