A section of the Schuylkill River Trail just West of the Brentwood Trailhead, and before the Lancaster Ave bridge, will be closed on Wednesday, November 11th due to sinkhole remediation.
Located on a bend in the trail behind the UGI building, the sinkhole measures approximately 2-3 foot in diameter.

Hazard signs have been placed around the hole until crews can fix the pavement. Officials recommend trail users be cautious of this area until it has been repaved.
A closure of the trail is scheduled for Wednesday, November 11th for construction crews to fill in the hole and re-pave the site.
