Motorists in Exeter Township should expect delays traveling through the area of Gibraltar Road and Shelbourne Road in the next few weeks as roadwork is scheduled for the area.
A 3-4 week detour of Gibraltar Road, near the intersection of Shelbourne Road will begin August 25, 2022. project is part of a larger future bridge replacement and intersection improvement, which the Township says will likely occur in 2023.

The project includes relocating a sanitary sewer main. A partial closure will be in effect, permitting north bound traffic on Gibraltar Road to access Shelbourne Road.
The Township also states there will also be a full closure during the remaining periods from Dunham Drive to Shelbourne Road.
