South Heidelberg Police are investigating a fatal pedestrian crash that occurred Wednesday evening in Robesonia Borough.
According to the South Heidelberg Police Department, officers and EMS units were dispatched at approximately 6:20 p.m. to West Penn Avenue near South Brooke Street in Robesonia Borough for a reported motor vehicle crash involving a pedestrian.
Police said they arrived to find a female pedestrian with serious injuries. She was pronounced dead at the scene. The victim’s name has not been released out of respect for her family.
The driver of the vehicle involved remained at the scene and is cooperating with the investigation, police said.
