A tractor trailer became stuck after attempting to turn right onto the Penn Street Bridge from North 2nd Street Monday afternoon in Reading, causing traffic to back up in the city.
As traffic moved by in one lane, Matos Tow company arrived to help the driver of the tractor trailer.

As the driver was on the sidewalk making phone calls, the tractor trailer abruptly began to roll backwards into traffic striking a tow vehicle. The tractor trailer stopped when a fast acting Matos employee jumped into the cab to apply the brakes to the tractor trailer.
Soon after, the tractor trailer was driven to a side street.
