The Berks County Arts Fund of Berks County Community Foundation has announced the distribution of $50,000 in grants to six local organizations working to enrich the community through visual arts programming.
The fund supports innovative, inclusive, and accessible projects that foster community pride and encourage creative expression. This year’s grant recipients reflect a range of initiatives that aim to engage residents across the county in meaningful artistic experiences.
“These organizations’ work enriches our communities through visual arts,” said Monica Reyes, Vice President for Programs and Initiatives of the Berks County Community Foundation. “By supporting the visual arts, we’re investing in both creative expression and the civic vitality it fosters.”
The 2025 grant recipients are:
Alvernia University’s Total Experience Learning Institute received $13,025.70 for its mural project, Sanctuary of Color – Bringing Art to the LightHouse Playground.
