$2 Million Cash 5 lottery ticket sold in Exeter Township

A Pennsylvania Lottery Cash 5 with Quick Cash ticket worth more than $2 million was sold in Berks County, the Pennsylvania Lottery announced Tuesday.

The jackpot-winning ticket for the Monday, August 11 drawing matched all five numbers — 5, 12, 19, 29, and 39 — to win $2,019,939.50, less withholding. It was sold at GIANT Food Stores, 4655 Perkiomen Avenue, Exeter Township. The retailer will receive a $10,000 bonus for selling the winning ticket.

The winner’s identity will not be released until the prize is claimed and the ticket is validated. Cash 5 game prizes must be claimed within one year of the drawing date, while prizes from the Quick Cash game must be claimed within one year of purchase.

More than 37,200 other Cash 5 with Quick Cash tickets also won prizes in the August 11 drawing. Lottery officials encourage players to check their tickets and claim lower-tier prizes at any Lottery retailer.

Anyone holding the winning ticket should contact the nearest Lottery office or call 1-800-692-7481 for instructions on how to claim the prize.
