Shoulder work, brush cutting, paving: PennDOT upcoming roadwork October 10, 2025

PennDOT has announced several road projects scheduled for the upcoming week in Berks County that are expected to cause traffic delays. Motorists are advised to allow extra travel time and use caution while driving through these work zones, as restrictions will be in place during daytime hours. All work is weather dependent and may be delayed by rain.

On U.S. 222 North, crews will perform shoulder work and widening between the Lancaster County line and the Lehigh County line. The project will run from Monday, October 14, through Thursday, October 17, between 7 a.m. and 3 p.m. Drivers should expect northbound lane restrictions.
