A Berks County player recently won an online Pennsylvania Lottery prize worth $636,731.59, according to the Pennsylvania Lottery.
The prize was awarded through the EZ eInstant game MONOPOLY Money Mint, which contributes to both the Minor and Mega EZ Jackpot. Game play includes opportunities to multiply prizes by two times and activate a bonus game.
Pennsylvania Lottery officials said online games can be played on a computer, tablet, or mobile device. Players may also purchase tickets for games including Powerball, Mega Millions, Treasure Hunt, Cash4Life, Match 6 Lotto and PICK games through the Lottery’s website or official mobile app.
To participate in online Lottery games, players must create an account and add a payment method such as a debit card, credit card or linked bank account. Participants must be at least 18 years old and provide proof of age and identity.
Officials noted that online players have access to responsible gaming tools, including the ability to set time, deposit and spending limits, take a cool-off break or self-exclude for six months, one year or five years.
Pennsylvania is one of 15 U.S. jurisdictions that sells lottery products online. The Pennsylvania Lottery launched its online games in May 2018.
