Originally located on 9th Street in Reading, Luxus reopened in October on S. 5th Avenue in West Reading (nestled between fellow small businesses Tristan and Sons Cakes and Shakes, and Tinsel and Twig LLC) after a brief stint as an online-only boutique during the pandemic. “I have had amazing clients over the last ten years,” said Ms. Mota. “They are why I am still here…I’m so grateful for them.”
Even before you enter Luxus Boutique—named after a successful business from one of Ms. Mota’s favorite childhood telenovelas—it is clear that she has created something special amongst the other clothing boutiques in West Reading.
The stunning gowns on display in the window at the time of this report drew the eye immediately, and it was clear that this was a taste of the impeccable fashion that customers could expect within the store.
The clothing is inclusively sized from S (which, depending on the brand, can fit an XS) to L (which, depending on the brand, can fit an XL), and is color-coded across the boutique so that clients will have no trouble finding the styles, sizes, and colors which are most flattering to them.
Additionally, Luxus Boutique carries a variety of accessories: beautiful chandelier earrings, trendy purses, belts, hats, and much more. Best of all, Ms. Mota has cultivated a budget-friendly selection of timeless clothing and accessories, as all of her pieces are under $200 (with many that fall under $100).
