A man was taken to the hospital Wednesday afternoon after being shot multiple times during a fight that took place in the 300 block of South 8th Street in the City of Reading.
According to investigators, the incident took place around 4:30 pm. Officers arrived to find a 22-year-old man with multiple gunshot wounds. The man was transported to Reading Hospital for treatment, condition currently unknown.
Through a preliminary investigation, police say that the victim was shot during the course of a fight with another individual.
Police added that all involved parties have been identified and there is no risk to public safety.
